Fixed Position Barcode Scanners

Barcode-IT is able to provide customers with a full range of the leading fixed position scanners on the market from Microscan. Our range encompasses CCD, linear and 2D readers and all are versatile and robust, providing customers the flexibility they need within their fixed position scanning applications.

MS-3 scanner range

This range of scanners, designed for embedded applications, offer high performance and flexibility when budget and space are important requirements.  There are 3 scanners in this range; the MS-3 engine, MS-3 CCD scanner and the MS-3 laser scanner.

MS-3 Laser Scanner:

The MS-3 is Microscan's smallest scanner, weighing just 2 ounces (57g), and can therefore be mounted easily onto robotic equipment and tight spaces. Features include:

•  Scan rate of 1000 decodes/second

•  Wide scan angle - 70°

•  Easy to use Windows based setup program (Win 95 to XP)

•  Push button set-up

•  Read performance LEDs

MS-3 CCD Scanner:

The MS-3 CCD scanner is one of the fastest CCD scanners on the market. Again it's size makes it extremely flexible and it has the ability to read virtually all widely used barcode symbologies. Features include:

•  Scan rate of 270 decodes/second

•  Wide scan angle - 48°

MS-820 scanner

The Microscan MS-820 is a robust and versatile linear scanner designed to withstand a harmful environments. Its die cast aluminium housing and industrial sealing safeguard the internal circuitry and optical components from dust and moisture, making it the leader in its class of high speed fixed mount industrial scanners. Features include:

•  Reads barcode densities of 1 - 30 inches

•  Wide scan angle - 60°

•  IP65 rated

•  Ideal for conveyors and assembly lines

•  Easy setup program compatible with Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP

MS-880 scanner

The Microscan MS-880 is a highly versatile scanner, ideal for companies that wish to use the same type of scanner for a variety of different applications. The MS-880 is a heavy duty scanner designed for industrial automation, offering robust features. Designed specifically around the warehouse and manufacturing environments, the MS-880 takes into consideration all your scanning needs.

•  Long read range of up to 90 inches (10 feet)
