Dexterity MRO has been designed to help ensure that engineering spares are always available, but without overstocking expensive components. It does this by keeping track of the consumption and usage of maintenance and MRO spares, allocates usage to the correct cost centre and manages minimum stock and re-order levels

Engineers love Dexterity MRO

Dexterity MRO allows engineers to lookup, select and pick MRO spares quickly and efficiently, without forcing them to complete time consuming and complex paperwork.  Using mobile barcode scanning terminals, engineers log on, scan the work number, select or scan the cost centre and then pick parts and spares to fulfil the job.  The system automatically logs each item picked, allocates it to the cost centre and reduces the on hand stock level. When the engineer has finished, he closes the job and gets on with the repair, all the administration is carried out by Dexterity MRO automatically.

Finding spares and maintenance parts

With its powerful search and lookup feature, any part of the item's number or description will produce a list of possible items in stock, with full details of number in stock and its location in the stockroom. Searching is very fast, with Dexterity searching as you type, so users don't have to wait.

Critical Spares and Parts Management

A major role that Dexterity MRO manages is the re-ordering of parts.  Dexterity monitors items coming into stock and items used by engineers to create stock purchase requests.  All items have minimum re-order levels and expected lead times, so that daily or weekly reports will show any items that need to be ordered.  If required, a Dexterity ERP Integration module can be added, to send these orders directly to an ERP or accounting package to raise orders on suppliers.
