The FormsPro 4600 series of line printer are tough printers designed to automate a variety of paper handling problems in the printing of invoices, statements and all types of multi-part forms. Tractor System
The FormsPro series come with a selection of different tractor systems. The FormsPro 4600 has a single set of straight-up tractors, whereas the FormsPro 4603 has the Tri-Trak system with three sets of straight-through tractors.
High-Speed for High-Volume Printing
With a draft speed up to 530 cps, FormsPro printers can print a typical 1000 character document in less thank 5 seconds. That's over 700 documents per hour!
Waste Free Forms Tear-Off
After you tear off a form, the next is automatically positioned for printing. This helps to eliminate waste, making printing a much more environmentally friendly task.
Superior Legibility - Even on 9-Part Forms
Auto-Gap feature adjusts the printhead according to form thickness giving you a better and more legible print on your form documents.
Trouble Free Forms Handling
Easy load tilt-up top simplifies loading. Straight-up paper path eliminates forms buckling and jamming. Paper jam sensor permits reliable, unattended operations.
Automatic Page Edge Sensor
Optical sensor prevents printhead from printing beyond the edges of the loaded form.
Stores Parameters for up to 10 Forms
Spacing, margins, font and 11 other parameters are set using four front panel buttons. Options are displayed on a 2 x 16 LCD display. Once you have set the parameters for a form, thay can be stored and recalled at any time.
Ruggedly Built for Reliable Operation
FormsPro printers are designed to withstand 100% duty cycles. The printhead carries a two-years limited warranty when used in combination with a Printek brand ribbon - longer than any printer in the industry. However, a one year warranty is offered if a Printek brand ribbon is not used.
