SAP Label Printers - Mobile and Fixed Location
Barcode labels are an important part of the modern warehouse, enabling goods and products to be located and transported, picked and putaway. Barcodes form the backbone of any process based on data capture and so the printing of the barcode labels is a critically important first part of the process. Printing poor quality or badly specified barcodes will lead to many problems and can halt the very best modern ERP system.
Barcode-IT have been supplying barcode label printing systems to UK enterprise businesses for 20 years and so we have the knowledge to guide barcode label design and recommend the most suitable hardware. Some of the printers, both mobile and desktop are shown below and all of them have been integrated into SAP by Barcode-IT and The Config Team.

Barcode-IT have 20 years experience to help you get the right barcode label printers for your operation and specify a printer that is capable of 24/7 duty cycle, if your business needs it. Our integration experience includes all aspects of the integration of mobile and desktop label printers into SAP and how to get the best performance from barcode labels and barcoded locations in the warehouse.
Design and printing of barcode labels for products, cartons and pallets and warehouse locations is also a specialty of Barcode-IT. We can offer tailored solutions for any type of barcode label and the specialised thermal label printers to produce them.
Some SAP manufacturing customers have special requirements for printing and the picture below is one example. Cellular manufacturing can sometimes call for labels which need printing on a desktop printer made mobile enough so that the workspace can be quickly re-configured to maximise productivity or for special projects.

The Printronix T5204r ES printer shown here is equipped with a WiFi interface and is bolted to a special "power cart" which provides mains power to the printer and other small peripherals for a full 10 hour shift.
The T5000r range from Printronix are all Energy Star rated. this means that they can be left powered on 24/7 but will automatically reduce power consumption to a very low level, while still having an almost instant response to requests to print jobs, saving considerable amounts of money on energy costs and improving companies green energy efficiency rating.
