Bad bar codes reduce efficiency resulting in delayed response to market needs, non-compliance fines and lagging production lines. Online Data Validation (ODV) analyses each bar code to ensure it meets stringent scanning standards. This 100 percent inspection, commenced immediately after a label is printed, validates the symbology specifications of both linear and PDF417 barcode images. Bad barcode labels are cancelled and good replacement labels are printed automatically.
