Thermal printers for barcode label printing are becoming increasingly important in every industry. Barcodes must be of the highest quality so as not to be rejected by customers, which can in some cases result in a large fine. Match the printer to the application Different applications require different types of printers that have diverse capabilities. Our printers have been split into two catagories; retail/light-industrial and heavy industrial, so that you can find the right printer for you more efficiently.
Retail/Light-industrial Printers A retail or light industrial applications may require a printer that is smaller and can fit into tighter spaces, for example on a desktop. The quantity of labels running through the machine is likely to be less and therefore it doesn't need to be as rugged.
Heavy Industrial Printers An industrial application on the manufacturing floor or in the warehouse, for example, requires a more rugged barcode printer to survive the harsher conditions and more frequent use. Many of the printers we supply have tough outer-casing to provide this kind of protection and can be supplied with a variety of extra features like a media cutter or online barcode validator to meet additional requirements.
