Zebra Xi4 Industrial Barcode Printers

The Zebra Xi™ series of industrial printers has been upgraded to create an even more reliable, easier-to-use printer series. The Xi4 range of printers are the ultimate, with more features than ever before to meet all your mission-critical printing needs. Available in 4 models, the Xi4 series are suitable any application.

Target applications for the Xi4 series include:

• Manufacturing; work in progress labelling, inventory management, product identification labelling, compliance labelling, packing slips and other wide-label application.

• Transport/Logistics; receiving and shipping labels, asset tracking labels.

• Healthcare/Government/Public sector; surgical tools and equipment labelling, diagnostics kits, vial and slide labelling and military logistics labelling.

Reliability

Over the years the Xi™ series printers have proven their reliability time and again in the harshest of mission-critical applications. With a design based on a rugged steel case and rigid print mechanism, the new Xi4 printers raise the bar once more. New features include:

• Optional printhead diagnostic check so that print errors can be prevented before they become an issue, resulting in a more dependable print quality and cost saving.

• More accurate prediction of low ribbon and media supplies, allowing change and reordering with the minimum of disruption.

Performance

Xi4 printers easily keep pace with high-volume production lines. The new range has models with 356mm (14") per second print speeds, which improve productivity in batch printing and print-and-apply lines. For maximum performance the Xi4 also offers a fast first-label-out capability to print over 100,000 labels per day. Fast connectivity is also offered with a dedicated 10/100 Ethernet network adaptor as standard. Up to 64MB of flash memory is available for the storage of label formats, minimising the amount of data sent to the printer for a faster performance.

Flexibility for speciality labelling applications

The outstanding print quality delivered by the Xi series continues on with the Xi4, no matter what media it handles. Great on paper and even better for small fonts, resin ribbons and small labels as well as specialised synthetic products.

From tiny component labels to compliance labels to wide-web (e.g. chemical drum) labels, the Xi4 offers a wide range of print widths and resolutions to fit all applications.

Easy to use

The backwards-compatible Xi series platform is designed so users and system administrators can quickly identify and resolve printer issues with early-warning systems that indicate when to service the printhead and change ribbons/media, as well as remote printer management/monitoring through ZebraNet™ Bridge Enterprise.

The Xi4 printers have a new LCD and control panel featuring a large easy-to-read front panel with multilingual backlit display. The LCD content and keypad navigation can be customised to meet user' needs.

Easy to integrate

Xi4 printers offer the greatest choice with four print widths (from 102mm to 216mm), three resolutions (200, 300 and 600dpi) and multiple media-handling options.

Zebra has strategic alliances with some of the world's largest software companies (including SAP and Oracle)to ensure that integration with enterprise systems is straightforward.
