Data Capture Solutions - Trux 700 & 600 Series

VX8 & VX9 Vehicle-Mount Computer

VX rugged vehicle-mount computers for forklift trucks from LXE. These new truck computers are the most powerful computers in the industry when it comes to performance and functionality. The major difference between the VX8 and VX9 is the size - the VX8 has a 10.4" screen, allowing the computers to be installed easily into the cab of a forklift truck and the VX9 has a larger 12.1 inch screen for application where there is more room or a larger screen is required.

Powerful and Robust

Both computer are equipped with a powerful energy-efficient intel processor, a high-brightness screen, many connection possibilities and is capable of handling tough treatment in challenging environments.

Designed for challenging environments

Both units have a shock-resistant magnesium case and sturdy internal components classified for industrial use enabling them to withstand long-term rough treatment in industrial environments. Extra reinforcement is built into the card and screen holders, cabling, connection ports and mounting brackets. The computers are rigorously tested both in the laboratory and real industrial environments to ensure that they tolerate dampness, extreme heat and cold, bumps, shocks and vibration.

Reliable and safe

VX Truck computers come with battery back-up and a power-saving function built into the accompanying Computer Manager. The software can also sense power-supply dips and can, for example, reduce the screen's brightness and shut down the computer after a specified length of time so user data will not be lost. The screen can automatically blacked out when the vehicle is moving to prevent the operator from being distracted. The VX is protected against damage from lightning, power surges and similar accidents through its external power converter.

LXE have made vehicle mounted industrial computers for over 15 years including the Trux Tx600, Tx700 WAP & WCT terminals. Many Trux computers are used manufacturing and warehouse environments including ERP and WMS systems from SAP, Sage, Navision and Microsoft Dynamics and are used throughout the automotive industry. Trux computers can run full Windows XP, XP embedded and Windows CE as well as a wide range of terminal emulations and clients such as Citrix. Trux computers are exceptionally rugged and are often found on fork trucks, lift trucks and industrial vehicles.
