Zebra RW220 Mobile Printer

Designed for employees on the move, the RW 220™ is ideal for receipt printing, field service and passenger transport. The user-friendly 2-inch RW 220 simplifies printing tasks for the mobile workforce with intuitive interfaces, rugged construction and reliable printing.

You might be forgiven for thinking that a printer would not be able to survive in the tough conditions endured by the Road Warrior. However, the RW 220 is a very rugged piece of equipment able to endure extreme temperatures and weather conditions, confirmed by its IP54 rating. The RW 220 can even withstand the occasional drop to concrete from up to 6 feet!

Weighing just 1.5 to 2 pounds, the RW 220's modular design allows users to choose from wireless options, card readers and integral accessories such as vehicle mounts for simplified route printing. Its convenient vehicle mounting and charging options as well as its angled display allow for easy use while on the go. Even reloading media is a simple task with this printer, so your operator isn't held up whilst on the move.

Applications

Delivery Verification Slips can be printed at the point of transaction to confirm the actual quantities that have transferred possession. A hard copy receipt can save time when discrepancies are brought up plus proof of delivery can be easily provided.

Mobile Point of Sale/Queue Busting can improve the sales experience for your customers, when the RW 220 with integrated card reader is used to provide a mobile point of sale. Wireless network connectivity allows free movement around the sales area, to allow your sales people to go to the customer instead of the dissatisfaction of a large queuing process.

Ticketing/Passenger Information can be made easy using the RW 220. Print tickets or passenger information aboard buses, trains or boats for an efficient way of reducing lines and increasing customer satisfaction.

Service Estimates offer customers documented information regarding the estimate that was quoted. This estimate is entered into the system in real time and can be easily accessed when the customer calls in, using the contact information and estimate number that is indicated on the printout.
