PROJECT SCOPING
Our consultants will provide a no-obligation scoping service for your WMS project, which will typically start with a phone conversation to assess what will be a suitable solution for your business and the integration points your business requires. This can then be followed by a site visit to assess the warehouse environment and the challenges you face as a business. We'll then offer our expert opinion on how operational processes can be improved within your business using WMS and industry best practise.
The outcome of this is a project scope, detailing objectives and providing an initial project costing and implementation schedule based on the information given. If you decide to move forward, our professional project management team will work with you to make sure the project is delivered within the agreed time frame and budget.
TRAINING & IMPLEMENTATION
On placing an order for a WMS, you will be appointed a dedicated project manager to oversee the implementation of the project and to act as your main point of contact. The project manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of the entire project, including all elements of the system, i.e. hardware, software and user training.
To ensure the proper use and maintenance of the system, Barcode-IT will provide a comprehensive training programme for your staff. The implementation and training programme will be designed specifically for you to suit your company's individual requirements and will cover the following areas:
